What You'll Do
Hunt & Close Business- Actively prospect new customers across retail and wholesale channels
- Negotiate pricing and deal terms confidently — balancing volume, market conditions, and company goals
- Prepare compelling quotes and close deals with urgency and professionalism
- Attend industry events and network your way into new opportunities
- Track your performance data and use it to sharpen your strategy
- Be the go-to contact for your accounts — responsive, knowledgeable, and reliable
- Grow existing accounts by identifying upsell and expansion opportunities
- Handle customer feedback head-on and use it to improve the experience
- Answer questions about product characteristics, seasonality, taste profiles, and handling like a true expert
- Develop deep knowledge of our full fresh produce lineup — varieties, seasonality, nutrition, and storage
- Stay ahead of industry trends, new varieties, and food safety regulations
- Use your product expertise to advise customers and differentiate yourself from the competition
- Process orders accurately and on time using our order management system
- Maintain organized records to keep your accounts running without a hitch
- Uphold safety and sanitation standards on the floor
What You Bring
- Fluency in Spanish and English — written and spoken
- 3+ years of proven sales experience (food & beverage industry experience is a big plus)
- A track record of hitting and exceeding targets
- Strong interpersonal skills — you're someone people genuinely like doing business with
- Solid organizational habits and the ability to juggle multiple accounts without dropping the ball
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with order management or inventory software is a bonus
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
