We are P&A Produce, a leading wholesale distributor of fresh fruits and vegetables serving retail and wholesale buyers across the region. We need a driven bilingual sales representative who can find new accounts, close deals, and grow a book of business.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Sales and business development

Prospect and close new retail and wholesale produce accounts
Negotiate pricing and deal terms based on volume and market conditions
Prepare quotes and close deals with urgency and professionalism
Track sales performance data and refine strategy
Attend industry events and network for new business opportunities

Account management

Serve as the primary contact for your accounts — responsive and reliable
Grow existing accounts through upsell and expansion
Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally
Advise customers on product characteristics, seasonality, and handling

Product expertise

Develop expert knowledge of fresh produce: varieties, seasonality, nutrition, storage
Stay current on produce industry trends and food safety regulations

Order operations

Process customer orders accurately using our order management system
Maintain organized account records
Follow safety and sanitation standards

REQUIREMENTS

Bilingual: fluent in Spanish and English, written and spoken
3+ years of proven sales experience; food and beverage industry preferred
Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple accounts
Proficient in Microsoft Office; order management software experience a plus
Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Base salary: $50,000 to $65,000, based on experience
